Clapotis 2004

Siena knits up like a dream! So much fun :-) And I love the pattern too - it's a lot easier than I thought. When I first read through it, I didn't know how to ptbl but it's actually quite a fun-to-knit technique.

Here's how far I got in 2004 *g*, and yes, that's a fingerprint on our digicam :-(

Your Clapotis is looking good! I've just reached the point where you start knitting the straight rows and am anxious to get it finished. I just hope I do all the KTBL's and PTBL's right so it "unravels" correctly. I'm using Mountain Colors Alpaca for mine.

And I just finished Clapotis!! I'll see whether I have enough light to take a picture of the unblocked curling beauty :-)

Dein Clapotis wird ja auch eine Wucht! Macht es Dir genauso Spaß wie mir an ihm zu stricken??? Ich habe mir schon meinen 2. (für den Sommer) vorgenommen!

Ich in ganz begeistert, hätte ich gar nicht gedacht! Irgendwie hatten mich die Bilder in der Knitty nämlich gar nicht aufmerksam werden lassen, erst die ganzen Bilder der fertigen Clapotis in Blogs haben mich neugierig gemacht :-)
Jetzt bin ich ja (leider) fertig, aber ich habe schon den/die nächsten in Planung. Meine Mutter möchte einen, ihr klingt die Anleitung aber 'zu fummelig', daher darf ich stricken! Und dann möchte ich noch einen ganz breiten, langen haben, so als Umhang - als schickes Teil für Konzertabende oder so ...
